Glasses Radar is an informational awareness tool, not a security guarantee. Alerts indicate possible nearby device activity — they are not proof of recording, surveillance, or any unlawful act. You are solely responsible for any decision or action you take based on the app's output.
By downloading, installing, or using Glasses Radar (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer of Glasses Radar ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law; sublicense, sell, or otherwise transfer the App or any rights in it; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Glasses Radar is an informational awareness tool. It passively listens for publicly broadcast radio signals (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi) from nearby devices and compares them against a database of known camera-enabled smart glasses hardware signatures. When a likely match is detected, the App notifies you.
The App does not connect to, access, or retrieve any data from nearby devices. It does not record audio or video. It does not access any camera. It is not a surveillance tool and is not designed to be used as one.
Glasses Radar is not a security system, law-enforcement tool, surveillance countermeasure, privacy guarantee, or substitute for human judgment. An alert does not constitute proof that any recording, surveillance, or unlawful activity is occurring or has occurred.
Detection is probabilistic. The App will produce:
Signal availability depends on operating-system restrictions (iOS limits background Bluetooth scanning), device firmware, environmental interference, distance, and user settings. A device capturing directly to onboard storage with no wireless offload may emit no detectable signal.
A detection alert means a device with a signature matching known camera-glasses hardware is likely nearby. It does not mean that person is recording you, has recorded you, or intends to do so. You must not harass, accuse, or take any adverse action against any person based solely on an alert from this App.
You are solely responsible for how you interpret alerts and for any action you take as a result. We are not responsible — and expressly disclaim all liability — for any confrontation, exclusion, legal claim, injury, or other consequence arising from actions you take based on the App's output.
THE APP AND ALL ALERTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, SECURITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL DETECT ANY PARTICULAR DEVICE OR CATEGORY OF DEVICE, THAT DETECTION WILL BE TIMELY OR ACCURATE, OR THAT THE APP WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. BECAUSE GLASSES RADAR IS FREE TO DOWNLOAD, THIS CAP IS TYPICALLY USD $0.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Glasses Radar is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or certified by any manufacturer of smart glasses or related hardware, including but not limited to:
References to third-party products and trademarks in the App, on this website, and in any marketing materials are for identification and descriptive purposes only — to indicate categories of hardware the App may detect. They do not imply affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship of any kind.
The detection fingerprints used by Glasses Radar are based on independent technical observations of publicly broadcast radio signals. They are not derived from, or based on, any proprietary documentation, firmware, SDK, or trade secret of any third-party manufacturer. We claim no intellectual property rights in third-party hardware or software.
You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws. You must not use the App to:

These Terms are between you and us only. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation concerning the App or any claim relating to it. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the terms of the relevant App Store, the App Store terms take precedence for App Store-related matters.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted here with an updated effective date. Material changes will be notified via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature of it at any time without notice or liability to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory local protections, those protections apply regardless of this clause.
